Fujian Tulou 福建土樓

Fujian Tulou is the most extraordinary type of Chinese rural dwellings of the Hakka and others in the mountainous areas in southwestern Fujian, China. They were mostly built between the 12th and the 20th centuries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 福建土樓總數約三千餘座，形如天外飛碟，散布在青山綠水之間, 主要分布地區以中國福建西南山區。福建土樓是世界獨一無二的大型民居形式，被稱為中國傳統民居的瑰寶。
Our tour guide is the resident of 南靖縣的「四菜一湯」田螺坑土樓. There was no waiting in line or walking for us. We parked our car inside Tulou in front of her house. Then we went to see「東倒西歪」的裕昌樓 and 塔下村. Paying her a little bit more, she drove us to the next county 永定縣「土樓之王」的承啟樓 which was not on original schedule.
